Lunar New Year this year, 2023, is the year of the rabbit. In honor of that I painted a rabbit on a peony, which represents wealth and prosperity. The text says ‘Happy New Year’ in Mandarin and the water surrounding the peony is painted with various shades of metallic blue acrylic paint.
