About

My name is Ruth Jeanne Wang and I am a Taiwanese-American artist based in Maryland. Art has always been used as a meditative and cathartic measure for me to escape from stress. I want it to now become a source of pride and joy.

Until last year, my world was centered around processing the grief of my mother’s passing. Before she passed, she told me that she wanted me to be happy and to live a full life. I have been actively working toward doing just that while figuring out how to fully integrate art into my everyday life. While this is a constant work in progress, I have never been happier.

This is very much a diary and a representation of my art journey. I am still experimenting and finding myself within my work, but I hope that you’ll enjoy watching the process and evolution.  I’ve been working heavily with acrylics, but I enjoy using a multitude of mediums to express whatever it is I see and feel. One of my goals is for my work to emotionally compel you while adding an aesthetically pleasing statement to your home. The artwork may be simple and small, or extravagant and detailed, but they are all unique.

I hope you enjoy the ride!
